North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has issued an apology for the fatal shooting of a South Korean official. The 47-year-old man was allegedly attempting to defect to North Korea but was shot dead by the nation’s troops when he was discovered in their waters. His body was burned in line with anti-coronavirus regulations. Kim Jong-un said that he “feels very sorry” for the “unfortunate” incident.
