Can we apply for GC EAD with previous employer I 140 with out his involvement/approval

I work Full time for financial client and my Current employer is not ready to apply my perm as of now. Can i apply For EAD with my previous 140 with out previous employer approval? Maa paatha employer payroll lo ki veldam ani call chesa 10gai annadu..

I m in the same situation. 
old employer not lifting call. Literally 10geyi annnatte.

Nope. Mee patha employee ey file cheyyali. U cannot do anything without them.

 

my opinion: mee patha employer no cheppadam very reasonable. Dont expect such big favors from old employers

If he gives the form, can we w our own / thru attorney? Don’t we need to be in his payroll?

If not on payroll won’t it cause an issue down the road during citizenship process?

Technically yes as future employment. But don't know futures issues with it.

GC is future employment .. you can file with I485 supplemental J form as someone mentioned.. it is recommended to be on the employer payroll at least for 6 months after getting EAD
