SPB kante machi singers lera ? He himself agreed he was just lucky

dude!! Look at the volume. The sheer number of songs he sung. It shows his work ethic, love for his job. He is an extraordinary person in his profession. He is one of the greatest consistent voices out there that producers, directors and musicians could rely upon to be right for their work. End of the day, it need not always about having the greatest voice, its about being reliable.

SPB is a disciplined and humble singer, He maintained a great repo with the music directors and their assistance who later time became music directors. there are better singers than SBP like Ramakrishna after Demise of Ghantasala, but they lack discipline and hunger to excel. SBP reinvented himself every decade. He may not be as talented as Ghantasala or Yesudas but his hardwork paved a path to greatness.

K.J.Yesudas gaaru technically stand in much higher stature than SPB gaaru, SPB himself agrees on this.

The Main aspect or god's gift can say is SPB gaaru when he renders play back looks like the Hero/character himself is doing it, even Ghantasala gaaru & Yesudas (dasettan) miss a little bit in this regard thats what i felt and his voice suits from top most superstar to junior upcoming heroes as well.Also his dedication and high importance given for diction stood him in high regards and all language musicians/listeners owned him that he is our own. He stresses on the same in music program (Padutha teeyaga is prime example)

He is kind of unmatchable voice for Salman khan in his early days and no body could reach that levels, if you see Maine pyar kiya , Saajan songs etc you can notice it.

Also there is a thing which i came to know from a program, In early days of SPB career MGR gaaru once announced that SPB will be singing a song for him but while time came for recording SPB was kind of sick and took around 15 days to be back normal but MGR waited for SPB to recover and recorded the song with him only, If wanted they could have asked some one else sing it but if its done it will be bad mark for SPB since it was already announced that he would sing for MGR and expectation around that, unless they saw a talent in him would have done like that.

if what you said is right why SP has took back seat now? 

Now Devi will sing in his own voice. taman will engage good singers. Herola voice emana amruthama

luck ani cheppadam SPB's down to earth nature!! 

Infact even in his one of the last programs lo video lo chudochu he was bowing to every instrument player in that show, he wasn't require to do that for his age, stature and level. He would just thanked everyone with one sentence  "andhariki dhanyavadhalu. . "

Luck can help only sometime like during starting phase or when in troubles but in singing career he was always a legend.

Example e song, sung by three stalwart singer Hariharan, SPB and Chitra, and you see how SPB voice makes difference in the song. By this i'm not undermining Hariharan, in fact i like hariharan, shankarmahadevan and Shaan voices and keep playing their songs. But SPB is indeed a "super legend" hence his demise touched the music lovers across india and desis in RoW.
