If i were given an option, i would get trained as welder/ auto repair mechanic/auto cad design diploma  courses in canada or quebec rather than getting a " mechanical degree" or piece of paper.

depends on your area of interest within Mechanical and college. Masters cheyali ante Country doesnt matter.

laguage is the main barrier there, if that kid is proactive enough and learn german before actually applying to universities there Germany is the pretty good option.

I have couple of school frnds one of them in mech too, quite nice country to pursue career not high paying though but you feel satisfied unlike your counterparts in US whose studies and area of job is totally unrelated

About jobs in germany, i don't think anyone can take it for granted.

first language barrier.

second they have phd holders for competetion.

3rd masters has no value, experience has more

From what I heard from colleagues, Canada has some form of wage determination program. It determines wage to be offered for each job based on education, experience and qualifications. 10-20% difference untundemo.

Yes

passion vs wage level.  Highly educated, underutilised doesn't make sense

Its the reason indians lack manpower in manufacturing/mech.
