Practically not possible with in 3-6 months.

One step at a time. Learn software, get some job, gain experience and then try for big companies

possible , enroll in a boot camp , most will be 3-6 months , some will even offer a job guarantee etc , tons of people from other fields enroll in those bootcamps and get IT jobs..
