Best car for parents in India right now

Go for a petrol automatic 

Tata Tiago  - 7.5 lakhs best little car , very safe  dealership availability less

I 10 nios -  8.2 + lakhs new car , great interiors, 

Baleno - 9 lakhs - very spacious , fuel efficient, high resale .   Main drawback is very unsafe car , too lightweight .  

Other cars to consider - Dzire , amaze , jazz etc . These cars are arnt really better than baleno .

If your parents are fine with manual transmission 

Kia sonet , hyundai venue , Tata altroz , Tata Nexon are also decent cars to consider

your parents self driving? then go for Automatic....i think 1lakh extra anukunta (depends on car make n model), but very much worth in India...dont listen to ppl who are against automatic...they are not your drivers..end of the day its your parents who have to drive...they will thank you and whenever you visit India, you will be pleased with your decision

main trouble with Wife giving car to parents, She knows my bank accounts and all, 

how can I do this without my wife notice ? she may create a movie if she comes to know this.

Open new bank account, run part of payroll to that bank account and once money accumulates buy. Tell wife salary gone down
