If not concerned about maintenance and resale value go for German cars like vw or skoda hatchbacks ,build quality baguntadi unlike maruti ,chinna collision aina peddha impact untadhi.

I am mainly looking for more features to play like blind spot or soemthing does exists in India?

Bro dont choose TATA, maruthi and mahindra. Ivi tractor sounds vastayi from engine. Cabin lo koorchunte engine noise baaga vastundi even petrol versions. Trust me i test drove it myself. Go for japense and german like Honda.

I second this. Don't buy these brands at all. Bought a Swift for my parents and after two years with only 20k km, it feels like it's going to fall apart soon. VW Polo or I20 if you're looking for a hatch and can be had under your budget. I'm not sure if they're offering auto transmission with these models yet

This is their 1st car so I'm preferring hatchback rather than suv.

Only drive for 1/2 times per month so not going for 10 lakhs budget.

I see the above ones I'm considering have most features they need in my case like Automatic, Rear parking cam, etc.,

Not sure about blind spot monitor under 10 lakh.
