Comparisons , politics and influence.  Enta manam ah type kakapoyina slowly we get influenced and become like that . Only cons no pros . I usually don’t live in Indian communities and I don’t even know a neighbor . Ekkada unna no difference for me and I like it this way .

Baa, I am agreeing with you 100%. I never said not to mingle with Amreekans. 

I am facing this issue now with my kids and hence I mentioned my point above.

The place I live is all amreekans, no desis.  My kids have hard time finding Tella kids to play. 

Tella kids follow their timings as their parents advice them.

but for my kids, when they try to play, they are not able to find kids to play.

Also, some kids are available to play, but they are very rough and my kids are not able to handle them.

You get to know latest news in Andhra Telangana and India, you get to know some other desi info or deals in walmart or sams club or costco, like kitchen groceries deals, whatever al that crap...

If you like kids, you will have fun with many kids at gatherings or potluck nights...

Cons: too much curious to know your stories, they try to show that they're smart than you, they try to show they are from upscale or class, politics within groups, too much bothering, 

You will be judged by your actions, lot of free advices, 

These are some of my observations, and i hate desi sh!t....
