On Tuesday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that non-essential travel from New York to the three states should be avoided due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in recent days. While New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania met the criteria, the states will not be officially added to New York's 14-day quarantine list due to "the interconnected nature of the region and mode of transport."
