btw ur logic about losing margins is hollow

with model 3 , Y and S price cuts they still improved and increased margins in Q3, how  did that happen ???

pure magic i think , or some serious accounting fraud

haha Lucid

Last week price slash chesthey q3 lo vasthaaya?

Yes , EAP bakaras/braves are going to crowd test it first for bragging rights and will iron out hopefully any dangerous kinks in software.

all in all they think their software solution is worth 2k more, aaaa feature ki extra pay cheyyalsi vachina vaadikanna  migatha valla aavedhana ekkuva undhi ikkada

But no one want to pay for these poor people who believed in their features and then end of the day they get bashed out.

Last week price cuts was just one out of 4 which was calculated in q3.. last week one will be accounted to q4

their data shows only 1 of 4 car purchases opt for this FSD as an ADD ON feature.

So they only get 2-2.5 K on avg..

do you think it's worth it? Would you pay $10k and go driverless? Do you have a confidence you don't involve in accident? If you did, who is responsible?

At some point, most of the revenue comes from selling the software, in case if you don't want accept it, I cannot help. Paying for the parts for a physical car is never a profitable thing for a Auto manufacturer.

Why not? When you marketed a feature that it is what it is built for why would I worry about it? Your Autopilot is supposed keep you safe, not put you in trouble.

when you cannot justify to the safety you can argue this way. Sure, that is one way of getting around it.

People have been sleeping behind the wheel for many years, if you go look at the data. Tesla showcased the fact their features work.

I'm not in california where tesla insurance is available, so i would be worried about getting into an accident

but yes i would pay 8k for that feature (If i can afford) .

10k not so much. its a hefty price tag.

so ppl claiming that 2k price increase is going to mint money to cover up money lost elsewhere are totally wrong.

Its a gimmick for now, in future they will have a perfect driver aid system with minimal intervention needed.

I hope they will then make it free and standard on all models.

ROBOTAXI laaga car ni usage lo pettadaniki they might conceieve a fature that costs 10k and that will be worth it

for now all these EAP beat testers are helping TESLA public/crowd test kinks in software and helping them make robust
