Campaign spokesperson Tim Murtaugh said in a statement on Tuesday night that the Trump campaign website had been "defaced" and that law enforcement was investigating the source of the attack. Murtaugh's statement also said that "there was no exposure to sensitive data because none of it is actually stored on the site." During the breach, a message was posted on the website which said that the "world has had enough of the fake news spread daily by President Donald J. Trump."
