Yes. Immigration is how some of the western countries have grown their economies. Countries like Germany recovered that way after WW2. It will work for high income economies as most can avoid Malthusian traps.

The whole of dockyards, Eastern part of the London on Thames has been like this for centuries. Docklands was the place where they used to load and unload cargo from ships and all the labor from other countries used to live and work here and has been like this for ages. 

Yeah, but some places now resemble middle east. Some neighborhood's have been completely turned into a different world. Southall and heathrow, punjabi dominant..Hounslow etc areas are pakistani dominant, half of birmingham and manchester, New Castle, are controlled by immigrant communities...

Infact, there is one area where srilankan and dravidian tamils dominate
