this is bad. many insurances cover it. but as another poster said , you need to follow up with doctor and it is a long process

Ya baa 3 years nundi trying but minor problem valla natural ga only 50% chances.

Since trying for 3 years the obgyn recommended to University where they diagnosed the problem and currently going through IUI. My Insurance covers diagnostics like services to find the problem but doesn't cover the actual IUI and IVF process.

I just came to know that some insurances cover so will take a look into it. May be I'll take my own insurance which covers these.

Recent gaa close relative vallu vellaru..... Wife valla sibling...

So naaku telisina info chepthunna. IVF okka cycle lo multiple embryos form avuthayi considering young couple < 35 years.  So daani valla advantage enti antey ippudu 4 or 5 embryos form avuthey first cycle fail ayina second/third cycles lo migilina embryos use chestharu. So money & pain save avuthayi.

Cost antey first cycle ki around 17-20k.  Okka Vela fail avuthey second cycle ki 3k-4k( considering you have unused embryos from first cycle).

Not all the insurance companies cover it. Depends on the company u work for. Intel covers up to 40k.  Fb 30k anukunta. Google kooda somewhere around it.

No idea about India vs USA.

As every one said chances are 50-50. But 90% first time form ayina embryos thoney success ayipotharu..

Embryos pedha process. They need to egg retrieval which is the reason for cost and also stressful process.

Maa vallaki first attempt loney success ayindi. But unfortunately miscarriage at 3rd month.  Vallaki > 5 embryos undey. So next cycle was easy. They have a healthy baby now. Mostly next year second baby ki veltharu. And they are going to use the embryos formed in first attempt. So it should be easy

India is lot better for IUI or IVF same procedure same equipment
friends tried in UK, ooakdiki IUI 1st time success ayyindi which costs 3-4k in UK  normally doctors will prescribe which one is better here. Both of them have no issues, they prescribed to try it naturally for alteast some more time. Thye are trying it from past  2 years and thye went for IUI.
3 cycles ki oka cost around 4k anukunta, single cycle ki 1700, but 3 cycle option tesukunte, 1st cycle lo success ayithe they wont refund any. IUI chances are 30-40% ani chepparu.
2nd friend wife ki some issues, doctors preferred IVF, it time taking process and expensive compared to India. 10K -15k ani chepparu anta IVF

India lo 3-4 lakhs ani ananru, he got struck up In India, due to covid, IVF result inka teliaydu

I understand you are confused and also want to have results quickly and with surety. In these matters I agree its stressful but patience is a must.

Like someone pointed out first try to change your insurance and go for IUI as doctors recommend. If they all fail then go for IVF, I think this is also the plan insurance companies would approve.

If your and your spouse age are below 35 then don't worry you have some time and don't get stressed out that time is running out.

Saying it from experience. :)

Very good suggestions man. Appreciate it.

We are early 30's but trying from 3 years so punyakaalam poye lope finish cheddam ani. Also doctors diagnosed a minor problem so natural ga 50% chances.

Thanks.

If both are healthy and sperm count and Embryo count is fine
then try simple Turkey baster method.
Ala susccess ayina vallu kuda vunnaru, Suceess rate is like normal pregnancy.

Samw like IUI, here we can use Turkey Baster to inseminate sperm, ade IUI ayithe thye use a syrenge to inseminate chances are more

As far as I know, thye only prefer IVF if there is some serious issue

If there are no major problems, better to try IUI instead of IVF

Very informative baa. Maa insurance didn't cover. Will start investigating my previous job insurance coverages. If they cover, I will change jobs.

Meeru cheppina info correct for egg retrieval.

Entha ayindi overall ga after insurance covering. Thanks for taking time and typing again.

Good Info.

India lo brother and his wife both are doctors. Asking them to do some research and find good reputed hospitals in India too.

US lo aggressive ga treatment cheyyatledu. Very slow. Last time India vellinappudu IVF cheyinchuko ani chepparu 2years no luck ante. Naaku IVF antha idea ledu appudu so ee golantha enduku US lone natural ga inkonni rojulu try chesi IUI ki podam anukunnam. Now after first IUI it makes sense to go with IVF.

Flight ticket, Loss of Pay etc anni add chesthe edi cheaper ooo chusthunna anthe.

Don't worry brother, everything will be fine. You still have a bit of time...life is not a race ...give all the chances you got. Main thing is that don't get stressed out and support each other, hormones are very important during this time so keep positive momentum between yourselves at home.

One of the couple works for Intel. Intel has 40k coverage for fertility issues. So everything covered for them
