Working here till 45 and then retiring in India

with $750K I save, its easy for me to sustain ani @PilliBeta told.

Retiring before 60 is not good as you will be eating away your savings if yo do not plan property

but I'm all for taking less stress after 45 , good scenario would be to have enough money to have a stable non-job income in India (> 2 lakhs/month at least so that you do not touch your principal) and then do some less stressful job , kind of routine 9-5 or even part time like 4 hours a day even if its lower salary etc.

Its important to keep mind occupied in my opinion , while retirement at 45 sounds like a dream , I bet you will get frustrated in a couple of years..unless you obsess over something else...

life lo you have to be selfish, the only person may stay with you as long as possible may be your partner but at this age vallu kuda kastame

so life lo you have to be selfish most of the time.

You can always take a sabbatical. If you like spending your time other ways, no need to go back to desk job.

idi highlight maa professor saab valla koduku 9 yrs,

vadu chala sarlu annadanta why was I born in India why I am american citizen ani.

I know its hard, family frnds valla daughter born here but she grew up there until 9-10yrs I think.

okasari edo family function aithe US visit chesindii and she learnt that she is a citizen here and cut cheste the family moved to US.
