Obviously size matters but as far as eye health is concerned it won't matter , as you can adjust the fonts / icon /viewing distance I didn't feel 14 Inch to be uncomfortable its about normal i have been using Office provided Lenovo Thinkpad from long time its compact and good 15.6 Inch could be bit bigger to carry around and smaller ones than 14 Inch could be bit strain to eyes although we can adjust fonts. The only downside is the display, it's not bad but its not great either.

Never used acer laptops personally, but i bought this and used this. The build quality is decent and the price/specs were good. Had to return because i found a better laptop around $900. Thanks This has 2 ram slots. 1 occupied with 4 GB, and 1 empty. I believe it can handle 32 GB, but I wouldn't waste that money with only a dual core processor. It's not a gaming machine, but a very good and competent budget machine. I added an 8 GB DDR4 2666 MHZ stick (for about $38) myself and am very happy with the results. Remember: this is not designed to be a gaming laptop but a very capable entry level/budget laptop
