This country gave me a lot of opportunities that I wouldn't have got back home. But, don't twist my words. When I say I love America, it doesn't mean I hate India.

To be honest, I don't know yet. I never worked in India, I came to the US right after school and I have only been in the US for a decade now. I don't know how my life would be in a parallel Universe had I been in India, but I don't regret my decision of coming here.

Go to Russia

If there is one political policy I hate the most, that would be socialism. In a way, socialism = complacency and I hate complacency. So, Russia would be the last place I want to live in.

I had more time in India than in the US, I don't know what you're talking about.

There are millions of people in US who travel for 4 hours a day to commute to work.. if you choose to stay close to your work location in US, you can do the same in India too... Traffic issues are not unique to India only..

I doubt that millions figure, atleast if I were doing this IT job in India I am sure I would have been in that category.

And no not everyone can choose to stay close to work location, esp a lot of middle class people can't afford living in places like Manikoda, Gachibowli which are close to Hitech city anymore due to the exorbitant real estate prices in those areas.

I am personally in touch with a lot of my friends from school days who I grew up with. Oka sari India ellipodam anukuntunna ani chepthey 3 years back they all messaged me asking me to re-consider, a lot of them including the super wealthy guys want to get out of India. One of them is even looking at the EB5 route to come to the US, reason cited is for better educational opportunities for higher education in the US for his kids.

So yeah staying in India might look great from a distance, but I am sure my life was better off coming to the US instead of staying back in India.
