Invite chesinodu secretary ni pampindu. Farmers representatives walked out citing that the minister should have been present. Excerpt from the article. This news is from October 14th, 2020. Vallu 2 months pai nunchi agitation chestunnaru and pattinchukune naadhude ledu.

Farmers' representatives Joginder Singh and Jagmohan Singh said that Union Ministers were holding meetings in Punjab and spreading "propaganda" even as the union leaders were called for a meeting with the Agriculture Secretary in New Delhi.

"At least Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar should have been present at the meeting," one of the leaders said.

After a one-and-a-half-hour long meeting with Agarwal, the leader said: "They (union ministers) are doing propaganda in villages and here the minister was not even present."

"We asked the secretary whether the government was really interested in resolving the issue before walking out," he said, asserting that the agitation against the three farm laws will continue.

Meanwhile, government sources said that a second meeting was proposed in hope that common ground could be reached after the farmers' organisations rejected the first offer.

Ahead of the scheduled meeting with Agriculture Ministry officials, representatives of farmers' organisations had said they wanted to meet the Prime Minister and the Agriculture Minister to put forth their views regarding the new laws.

"We came for the meeting because we did not want to give the impression that farmers are not open to dialogue. But we also want to meet the Prime Minister and the Agriculture Minister," said farmers' representatives Dr Darshan Pal and Kulwant Singh Sandhu.

also they are planning to block delhi which will cause great pain to millions in delhi so govt should act in larger interest

They asked for permission to hold protests at Jantar mantar or Ram leela maidan and they are not going to take over the entire city. Why is the govt hell bent on suppressing their voices. Look at how hastily this bill was passed by the parliament

Is it politically motivated because the punjab cm is in support of the protests where congress is ruling? And BTW rahul baba was booed away by the agitating farmers

Not just talking about this issue, why is that anyone/any issue that challenges a govt decision is always painted with a politically motivated, anti national tag. Does the govt exist to hear the grievances of the public or just to do their own man maani.

You can do chest thumping about how big you won in bihar and you are going to make in roads in the south, but this govt is not for "all" the people.

yes punjab cm has big hand in this protests. first these farmers blocked trains in punjab causing business loss in ludhiana and then  CM used it to divert to delhi

What they are saying is that they don’t have a problem with private markets/players but also continue the current status quo of APMC model.

Instead FCI can deal with corporates, FCI buys the produce from farmers, corporates buy from FCI

wow look at this....perfect recipe of a congress style corruption

sometimes i wonder how congress still gets votes. well there are few dumb ppl who still believe in all the crap that congress did for 60 yrs
