I don't think most people who are supporting are there to support her race it's just because that she works in AI Research and people are concerned that google is trying to do something malicious in terms of AI Research. But if google can explain what exactly happened no one gives a Damn about Race especially Tech Biggies. Why would anyone talk about her if she is not working in AI or if she's not black. The only reason it got traction is because people are concerned with the AI Ethics, google doesn't and shouldn't give a damn about any race or gender period.
