Only idiots bring back politics from home to US, what I meant was we mix better with Gujaratis than Hindi speakers or punjabi speakers . 

Telugu people get along better with tamil/ kannada / gujarati than bihari/UP wala or Punjabis from my general observation . Even cricket team's tend to have telugu / guj/ tamil mix while Punjabis prefer to play with pakistani Punjabis
