శంషాబాద్‌ అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయం నుంచి అమెరికాలోని షికాగోకు వచ్చే నెల 15 నుంచి ఎయిర్‌ ఇండియా విమాన సేవల్ని ప్రారంభించనున్నట్లు జీఎంఆర్‌ అధికారులు బుధవారం ప్రకటించారు. బోయింగ్‌ 777-2000 విమానాలతో నడిచే ఈ సర్వీసుల్లో 238 సీట్ల సామర్ధ్యం(8 ఫస్ట్‌ క్లాస్‌+35 బిజినెస్‌ క్లాస్‌+195 ఎకానమీ క్లాస్‌) ఉంటుందని.. దాదాపు 7 వేల మంది ప్రయాణికులు రాకపోకలు సాగించవచ్చని తెలిపారు.  ఇప్పటికే విజయవాడ, విశాఖపట్నం, నాగ్‌పూర్‌, తిరుపతి, భవనేశ్వర్‌, రాజమండ్రి, భోపాల్‌ వంటి నగరాల నుంచి అమెరికాకు ఏటా 2.2 లక్షల మంది రాకపోకలు సాగిస్తున్నారని వారు పేర్కొన్నారు.

Intl code Delhi nundi start avutunde but the flight actually starts from Hyd and then proceeds to Chicago...

wait wasnt that American airlines  affiliated route with air india/indian airlines from way backk 

i travelled  10 yrs back , used to be one of the longest nonstop flights originating from india

That used to be American. I remember they used to fly to Delhi and Mumbai but they have stopped flying. Used to do a code share with Air India domestic but they stopped flying serve that route...Atarvata Air India started with Hyd-Del_ORd with 747
