Well, apparently you find it uplifting because you are incapable of raising voice yourself?

Anyway, i'm with you on the underpaid issue, but if they keep the plant and protest or form a union and file a formal complaint to labor dept, dont you think they would have kept the jobs atleast.

if you can't pay even the promised 16k, then don't run the company. simple. investors aa bonga.

they have to make in India.. they have no other option. because India is levying tariffs for imports of electronics now.

lets just say karnataka workers atleast have some balls. may be next time other 'investor' tries to stiff the workers their payment, they'd remember what can potentially happen.

for that we don't have to destroy a factory. What kind of a message does it sends?

So you think they didn't try to talk ?

When a company like that big is breaking promises, what kind of message is it sending ???

While an engineering graduate was promised Rs 21,000 per month, his/her salary had reduced to Rs 16,000 and, subsequently, to Rs 12,000 in the recent months. Non-engineering graduates’ monthly salary had reduced to Rs 8,000. The salary amount being credited to our accounts have been reducing and it was frustrating to see this,” an employee alleged.

On Friday night, the employees started discussing about their salaries on their floors and some alleged that they had received only low as as RS 500 in their bank accounts. The anger turned into violence by the time the shift ended, the employee added.

There is always a better way to solve the issue, now they stopped manufacturing, so how many unemployed?

The Big picture is important bruh, i do empathize with underpaid, but isn't having a job better ?

Isn't it better to work where your time and effort is valued than sticking to a job that doesn't pay ?

So burning the factory will give them the balance pay?

that's the decision they made. may be in a fit of rage, or as a strategic act.

how can we judge when we have no idea about what employee/employer relatioship is in this case?
