My husband makes idli and dosa batter at home now. In the beginning he made dosa batter using basmati rice, and it didn't raise. So now, he uses idli rice (atleast that's what his cook book says).

Yes .  Dosa ke oka spoon menthulu vesthe baguntadhi. Oka handful atukulu vesthe crispy vasthai

Also batter consistency maree thick undodhu or watery

round round chesaka flame high lo pettali, spary some oil.

sides sariga kalchaka thippali.

If making karam dosa then no thippudu MagaMaharaju

Dosa ki dosa rice use cheyyali kadha. Idli rice endhuku use cheyyali?
