Series 1-1 draw ke adi not won...target was not safe to get aus chase down...they declared for 380 lead and a whole day to chase down with likes of langer/hayden/pontig/steve waugh/gilly....it wasn't safe bet to declare early.. aus in those days were scoring at almost 4 per over in tests

Can't compare Ganguly with others he got captiancy when indian cricket was at its lowest point and turned it around and fostered lot of young players . 

Dhoni got handed a decent team and took them to greater heights . He handed kohli a great team  .

Kolhi took over a great team with many talented players and run it into the ground with a drunkard as a coach . 

Kohli is a great player but unfit for captaincy , he seems lost without dhoni to guide him

Bucknor gaaniki two shades unnayi before 2000 and after annattu.. 

Before he was very good and after was disaster 2004-05 taravaatha ayithe maree dhaarunam.
