I read an article which says he was inapiration behind the formation of Nazi party. But it is irrelevant to the discussion.

Are you aware of this guy named " Mark Passio" ?

Vedas are an inspiration for nazi party. They use swastika symbol and call themselves Aryans. I dont know about Luther inspiration - i wont think so. I dont know about Mark Passio.

Nazis themselves called it using sanskrit work "Swastika". THey also borrowed sanskrit word called "Aryan". Luther did not even know such words existed. Ofcourse Nazis were also german nationalists so they quoted all famous germans including Luther, Neitscze etc.

I am not saying protestant if perfect but it helped christians (not the world or jews), made them literate and a great civilization. In  a way you can blame colonialism also on Luther because he made protestant culture rich and that led to ships sailing from europe and that led to colonialism like that.  But its not directly relevant.

Its a vague made up religion re-discovered by brits and then people built it by comparing with islam and chrisitianity. Like they have koran and bible so we too have gita. Nobody knew a thing about gita untill british translated something. No temple had any inscriptions from gita. And what are vedas? another european translation. Does any so called hindu keeps vedas in house ?

Vedas too were translated by jesuit missonaries in 18th and 19th centuries. And some of it were actually made up.

Anyway modern hinduism is not so much a religion but  a law. It basically says who can work as this and who can work as that . With india adopting ambedkar law it is already dead. Just some stories in amar chitra katha thats all.

@narsy

There are things in this world that no religion can satisfactorily explain. Why selectively highlight the shortcomings of one religion? Biased crappy video and post.

buddhism was the catalyst for creation of this modern religion which we now accept as hinduism.

Until then, Brahmins were the only ones that followed these rituals, and the rest of the society hardly gave a fcuk to all these weirdos chanting mantras, and pretended like they held power.  It took more than 500yrs for Hinduism to spread across India from Tamilnadu/kerala.

lately Hindutva seems to take a lot of inspiration from Islam/Xianity,  but its original inspiration was buddhism, and Hinduism spread like any other religion. through the power of throne and by special privileges accorded to those who declare themselves Hindu.

no religion is better. religion exists as a means to find connection among people that goes beyond materialist motivations.

once politics enters into the picture, every religion becomes tainted. It deserves all the mockery, since it cheapens both the political discourse and the spiritual discourse.

Political Islam is the same sh1t as Hindutva. happy? go sleep now.
