I read excerpts of a tamil book  recently. Title goes "What is Nadar history, dravidian, or saffron?"

it gives a list of atrocities that was done on Nadar caste by sanghis.. right from not allowing them inside temples and killing 100s of them in retaliaton when they created a movement to try to. 

and the guy who were against them entering temple was Bhaskara Sethupathi, the guy who gave up his seat at the culture conference in US to Vivekananda in 1892. He was a thevar and a staunch Hindu. He thought Nadars shouldn't be allowed inside temples. that is the history of these Hindutva fcuks.

THe funny thing is, Nadars themselves disavow all this recorded history... hundreds of instances where they were victimized, laws passed against them for daring to grow moustaches etc, and now what to project themselves as children of the Chera kingdoms. and want to be identified as kshatriyas.

this is how hinduism becomes a race to the hollow top, where everyone is in a hurry to talk sh1t about other groups.

there's no way to reason with people who are proud of Hinduism. religion is not something to be proud of ani kooda teliyadu veellaki.  lite teesko. They deny history to feel part of a group in the now.
