Kelvin Nicholas Coker, the 32-year-old son, shot one of his father’s dogs when one bothered his girlfriend’s child. Two dogs were killed. The son later pointed a shotgun at his brother and told him to get off his property "or he would kill him."  Kelvin James Coker, the 60-year-old father, arrived at his son’s home armed with a handgun and confronted him about the earlier shooting, the report said. The son reportedly aimed his shotgun at his dad who was inside a truck at the time. His father "drew his handgun, fired a shot and struck Nicholas." The 32-year-old, who was reportedly hit in the torso, returned fire and hit his father in the neck. Both died at the scene.

stupid people

An academic measure of state Intellegence Quotient (IQ), as estimated by Virginia Commonwealth’s Michael McDaniel in a study was published in the journal ScienceDirect in 2006. In that study, Alabama showed up as the dumbest state in the country with an average IQ of 95.7, a little more than 4 points below the average IQ of 100. This was based on the number of white people in non-public education, in this case 9.5 percent, along with a measure of gross state product, an indicator of individual health, the amount of violent crime and “government effectiveness.”
