Don't start with politics in here , only policy

The monumental incompetence of finance minister will be talked in decades to come .

Almost every eminent economist in history had accepted that Keynesian policies are the only way out of a crisis and against all conventional wisdom all our finance ministry did is rearrange some numbers  and increase tax on petrol/disel , add some import taxes and call it a stimulus package .

The mandate is the votes and that is what matters to the people in power. Nothing more , nothing less. Are people being kept in the dark about all these numbers?

Had the popular news channels done their job, people would have been lot more informed.

2-3 lakh crores varaku real investment by center . The rest all benefits or collateral etc

Good ones MSME loans , small street vendor loans , employee health insurance. Konni taxes reduce cheyadam ( eventually employees do file for returns ) considered under stimulus and not really though

What benefits man ? They have increased fuel taxes like crazy , they are expecting 1.6 lakh crores from the increased rates this year alone .

They have increased import  taxes on steel , electronics , appliances , tyres , etc

Small street vendor loans were not given by center as far as I know , few state governments did ( Tamil Nadu , AP did ) but not center .

The only ones benefiting from this are big guys who can weather the shock , no wonder the stock market is going crazy with such weak fundamentals.   By governments own admission india is the worst performing nation in the world economically this year . Even pakistan did better and they don't have any borrowing  capability to begin with .

We need some technocrat like jayashankar to take over finance ministry immediately
