మాకు కూడా కరోనా వ్యాక్సిన్ ఇవ్వండి.. భారత్ ను వేడుకున్న నేపాల్!

మొన్నటి దాకా మన భూభాగాన్ని కూడా తమదేనంటూ మ్యాప్ లలో చూపించుకున్న నేపాల్... ఇప్పుడు భారత్ ను సాయం అడుగుతోంది. కరోనా వ్యాక్సిన్ ను తమకు ఇవ్వాలని వేడుకుంటోంది. తమ దేశంలో 20 శాతం జనాభాకు సరిపడా వ్యాక్సిన్ కొనుగోలు చేస్తామంటూ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి నేపాల్ ప్రభుత్వం లేఖ రాసింది. కరోనా వల్ల నేపాల్ తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందుల్లో ఉంది. దాదాపు రెండున్నర లక్షల మంది కరోనా బారిన పడ్డారు. 2 వేల మంది వరకు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. దీంతో, వీలైనంత త్వరగా వ్యాక్సిన్ ను కొనుగోలు చేయాలనే యోచనలో నేపాల్ ఉంది.

వ్యాక్సిన్ కోసం ఇప్పటికే పలు దేశాలను, కంపెనీలను నేపాల్ సంప్రదించింది. తాజాగా భారత ప్రభుత్వానికి కూడా లేఖ రాసింది. ఈ విషయాన్ని నేపాల్ మీడియా ప్రచురించింది. అయితే, వ్యాక్సిన్ అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత నేపాల్ కు తొలి ప్రాధాన్యతను ఇస్తామని గత నెలలోనే భారత ప్రభుత్వం హామీ ఇచ్చింది. ఇటీవలి కాలంలో ఆ దేశం చైనాకు అనుకూలంగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే.
