Newly converted Christians are donating parts of their Salary to churches. There are more churches than temples in most towns of AP. Churches collect donations regularly.

The catholic church is like a corporation. They get salaries. Even if a priest molests kids, he will be transferred to a different church. They get great perks. A priest who abused in Marysville Kansas, was transferred to Guntur AP.

What basis do Catholic fathers get appointed? why does the church protect even child molestors. 

What basis do Imams get appointed.

The biggest Mosque in India, Jama masjid has a hereditary "Shahi imam" whose family is from Bukhara. The mughals, felt that Indian muslims/clergy were not worthy of a "Shahi Imam" so they brought them from Bukhara Uzbekistan, their homeland.
