What basis do Catholic fathers get appointed? why does the church protect even child molestors. What basis do Imams get appointed. The biggest Mosque in India, Jama masjid has a hereditary "Shahi imam" whose family is from Bukhara. The mughals, felt that Indian muslims/clergy were not worthy of a "Shahi Imam" so they brought them from Bukhara Uzbekistan, their homeland.
