Last 100 entries or 10 year travel history is retained for i94 holders.

The logic is i94 is only applicable to non-immigrant visa holders. GC holders wont have any i94, so travel history may not be retained. GC status ki update avvagane i94 system lonchi teesoyyochu and such underlying travel history may be gone.
