The Department of State (DOS) has determined that the FY 2022 employment-based annual limit is 281,507 – more than double the typical annual total – due to unused family-based visa numbers from FY 2021 being allocated to the next fiscal year’s available employment-based visas. Through August 31, 2022, the two agencies used 263,510 employment-based immigrant visas (FY 2022 data is preliminary and subject to change). Through late August USCIS had approved more than 210,000 employment-based adjustment of status applications for individuals already present in the United States. We remain committed to taking every viable policy and procedural action to maximize our use of all available visas by the end of the fiscal year and are well-positioned to use the remaining visas. Court filing lo USCIS said they are no more visas available for 2022 ani but FAQs lo again they are saying we are committed to use all available visas ani, can we expect GC approvals by end of Sep 2022 or are we done? Ade ardham kaatle... They may mean remaining EB categories...EB3, 4 and 5 where the numbers are still there...

Submitted medicals along with 485 application but got RFE as my civil surgeon filled 693 without any details for Varicella(they marked as varicella History in their records but due administrative mistake they missed it in 693). They rectified & gave me new document & I fedex it to Tucson FO. USCIS got them on 17th August & my status still shows as - Request for Initial Evidence was sent. Do you guys how long it takes for status update to received or something?? GC elagu poindhi, I am thinking of changing job on EAD. Is it a good idea to change now & file 485j?? Naa PD September 2012. Do we need to do anything other than filing 485J??

Right. Only thing is that dependents cannot directly move from EB AOS to FB AOS without currently holding a non-immigrant status I think. Dependent needs to maintain Non-Immigrant Status(H1/L1/Other) to file for 485 under F2A. P.S: Not an expert on this. I could be wrong. The above statement is based on what I read on TG.
