It’s very evident, USCIS only approving 485’s if the PD is current in their original category. You may still at the benefit of EAD for sure by using downgrade and take advantage of this opportunity instead reluctant to downgrade. Not downgrading is no brainer.

If you were with the same employer it would have been easy to downgrade 140 first and move it as straight filer ...hmm

Hmmm I messed up to some extent and attorney gadu to some extent.
