but until recently 40% of the tesla publicly traded stock are owned by retail investors... until inclusion of snp there were no fund players for Tesla .. execpt for the big bulls ron barron, ARK, Loupe ventures and palihapitiya

totally agree, those who think markets are always going up are plain stupid, last march is still is a mystery to me, but it can only be explained by too much printed currency in short time

regarding technology, touch screen phones existed even before AAPL came, lot of Japanese's companies like Panasonic/Sony had these features, what they lacked was Human Interface refinements and app ecosystem which came up

AAPL can easily tap into existing car makers either by buying them or getting into agreements and rise up the learning curve in manufacturing, autopilot data that TSLA boasts can be achieved by partnership with Intel Mobileye (worst case)

I don't think AAPL was sitting quiet all these years when TSLA is making progress, i think they are waiting for some key gaps (call them refinements/Supply chain/profitability) before they arrive on market

the day AAPL self driving/car is announced aor confirmed by AAPL, TSLA share will drop to $500 or even less, TSLA fanboys dreamz unlimited will crash big time

those who are already millionaires by investing in TSLA early are following everyone around by showing dreams, when the market crashes just think of Bernie Madoff

Sounds like a valid bear case..for ppl who jumped into tesla late , better buy some appl stock as insurance,  Just in case if this happens
