You can make it tastier... I eat ezekiel bread for lunch since I skip bf. You can try it for bf.

Yes gas stove ayite koncham oil pusi keep it on burner as a whole . Keep rotating till it cooks on all sides. Potttu ade oodipotu untundi and u cant peel off and then make it into chutney.  Mastu untundi taste. I dont know if u know gujju pulusu adi kuda bavuntundi kalchi cheste.

Alternative method:  Oven lo kuda pettachu but i am not sure of temp and mins. We kalchufy all the time.

I am not sure rey i dont have air fryer never used it. I think may be not. Microwave lo cheyalem so thinking may be not.
