But there is a dark side to HK. It has one of the lowest welfare spending - esp under british rule. And complete laisse faire capitalism. you can get people to work for any wage like a dollar an hour if they are desperate enough. The same british however built a welfare state in UK. the simple reason they did not beleive that an asian man like HK chinese deserve welfare.
