yeah if they are making videos, they would cover only watchable locations otherwise nobody would watch depressing footage

Just look at this one edited with darker vignette effect applied around the borders to emphasize the center in bright and look cooler. real photo would be flat. (maybe enhanced colors and made them brighter too). All pictures are edited to make them look dramatic

some of them do look suburban. some are really proper villages. somethings i noticed:

numerous canals everywhere

plenty of greenhouses

well aligned and smooth main roads. but inside villages its a bit haphazard.
