I follow one rule. Never buy a stock at all time high or all time low

actually buying at all time low works some times...but buying at all time high doesn't work most of the times....and also even in the very limited cases it works only if you have to hold for long times as market is subject to corrections in short time and these are the ones that go down as soon as it starts...

Depends on the stock, there are no blind rules. You can miss a good stock waiting for it to fall.
