Tesla was big success for her. Adhi thappithey migitha antha worst. She is heavily into pumping & dumping. Assalu fundamentals leni companies ni pump chesi dump chesindi. Scammer

Yeh Covid time, she killed it, and her fund returned awesome returns. Last 1 yr its down 75%. Picking up lately, mostly coz of TSLA again. I never bought into her fund as its mostly filled with Hype stocks which usually don't realize potential.

Shez the queen of pump and dump. I bought into DraftKings at 47 and read a lot about how gambling will be legalized in all states, and with fantasy football craze. Somehow I was not convinced of the fundamentals and sold at 52. It hit 60 and fell to 12-15 recently.

I agree with you, she frequently pumps and dumps.

for her style of investing, fundamentals and other metrics lite, at least future profitable path undha choodali kadha..adhi ledhu..

all that matters for her is the company disruptive or not..

Again in next few years I believe 1 of the top 10 holdings will bring good profits but will have loss on 7/8 of them.

Yaa i know there are few ways to use 401k money for trading. I am not comfortable touching 401k money. So never explored it

Added PDI and GOF couple of weeks back. So far good decision. News about the interest rate hikes not impacting prices. Hoping they would come back into 17's and 14's respectively to add more.

Throw some light. Looks like good dividend for both

My message on this topic from before... Note: Always make your own research before buying anything.

------------------

PDI owns bonds issued by the U.S. government, municipal governments, and emerging market countries. However, PDI is also heavily invested in mortgage-related securities and other income-generating assets. Big interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve hammered bond prices impacting PDI prices. When interest rates move lower, PDI's price moves higher.

You can look at the 5 yr or Max chart in Yahoo Finance and compare the pricing since 2008. You will see how it moves inversely to Interest rates.

-------------------

But I have realized over years that you can never buy at bottom. If the fund value goes down, I will buy more. These investments are for long term. We are almost at bottom or near bottom as interest rate hikes have to stop soon.

For example PDI ($18.39) gives a monthly div of 22 cents. So in 5 months, you get a dollar back and even if the prices go down by 1$ you are even.

Do your own research if you intend to buy. Lot of info on Yahoo Finance."
-----------------------

Fidelity fund -

"SPAXX - Money market fund. Gives monthly div around 5%. Its almost like cash."
--------------------

I also have GOF&PDI which give a monthly div of close to 14-15%. The fund prices are at very low levels because of high interest rates, so if fed increases interest rates (They would after a pause), the fund value may go down.

--------------------

"Also when the interest rates go down which will happen eventually, fund value will go up for PDI/GOF. You will also get your monthly div."
