I feel Hit dead end. There are many other companies with more scalable solutions. Mixpanel is one such example. I think even databricks supports most of the use cases of splunk. $30b antey sahasamey

Ilmn now 133. That's the magic of market falling and a stock being falling knief. Very tempting to buy. I think this will be a acquisition target. Keep an eye on it.

Do you think it is good to hold charge point stock. Big loss bought in 20’s.

Quick research shows the stock has been making continuous lows. Insiders have sold a lot of stock which is not good. Its a good space to be but whole EV Industry is down and same with charging stations. Make your own call whether to hold or sell.

If you are selling, you can get a tax break upto $3000/year. Rest of the loss can be claimed in future years. For e.g. You made a profit of $5000 in stocks and a loss of $10,000. Your net loss is $5000. You can claim $3000 which will be deduced from your Income this year and the rest $2000 loss will be applied for next year.

TSLA is the only stock in EV space doing well and for all good reasons. It has most cars on roads, it has most data related to driving. They have setup their manufacturing infra well. They are well positioned to dominate the EV markets going forward. The reason stock is not going forward is because of price reduction. Musk mama is doing that to kill competition.

Keep TSLA for long term. It will make you happy. Short term, there will be pain. As markets go down, TSLA will go down as well.

Car companies take a lot of time to become profitable and its a long journey. Good thing for Rivian is that I am seeing a lot of their cars on road these days and they look awesome. Investment by Amazon is another positive. 

It will still be a blood bath for these EV companies for some more time due to price wars announced by Tesla. Its bleeding them. We don't know who will survive and who does not. Some of these will be acquired. 

So better bet is to buy an EV Fund if it exists.
