NO , DON"T DO THAT AT ANY COST ..... read below what happens if you trade Cannabis ......

 

1) you buy cannabis and made $100 profit 

2) you file return with IRS along with your other income including this (more specifically 1040-B or 1099-DIV) .... remember for IRS you are resident alien no difference from actual USA citizen 

3) IRS sort out all people traded cannabis stocks and get those SSNs

4) IRS go to USCIS database with those SSNs and see who are on H1-B....

5) IRS inform to USCIS and DOL about this (and clearly inform that you made $100 and they already collected tax on it too) ...

6) USCIS inform to FBI and local SWAT team , they coordinate with local law enforce / police deportment 

7) they raid on your home to find any Cannabis in your home ..... ohhh wait they ask for your trading transaction history and present you to court

8) court deport you from USA , so that they can easily loss 10000s of (some cases even 6 digit) of tax money just because you made $100 profit  on Cannabis

please don't ask me while applying trading account I applied as H1 and my trading company will report to USCIS ani ...... neenu inka jeebulooo chethulu pettukoni naduchukuntu vellipothaaa

 

you are allowed to invest in any public company in  SEC controlled stock market which are doing legal business , don't do any private investments (pre-IPO , LLC or S-corporations) in Cannabis
