It’s not NTR who acquired land..Kukatpally Housing board lo AP Hosuing Development vallu LIG/MIG/HIG homes katti amminaru, back then it was largest housing development in India...Before NTR ae land aquire chesinaru..

Land acquisition and planning antha before NTR ae jarigindi...kani LIG/MIG/HIG flat allotments vuntayi kada, a alllotments anni NTR regime lo ayinayi. 1985-1990 madhyalo there’s phases allotments jariginayi...various criteria vunde but eventually recommendations tho allotments jariginayi, oka 10-20% draw and remain in by recommendation...

Cheap and afforadable housing option became available and that’s how Andhras started settling in Kukatpally....most people done know the history behind how Kukatpally became an Andhra enclave.

One thing I know about these kukutpally housing board from my relative who then worked under then CM (no name taken) , told some what same things as you said...

that was the norm..almost everyone who were working in secretariat somehow got an apartment in housing board or bought a plot in miyapur, Chandanagar....that was quite common. It’s just that during NTR regime, most of his people from his community benefitted with recommendations. Most choose not to agree with facts but it is what it is..
