lemons vs orrange...same citrus family...near thoughts...there is scope for rational discussion...and come to conclusions...

in saudi arabia, it is tradition to kill women for infidelity. you won't see anyone make the argument that its woman's right to choose her partner if her current partner is an asshole.

it is also the reason why democracy works in shambolic way in India. because India's tradition is not geared towards public action, and freedom for the individual, but revolves around caste.

India did write in that individual is the basic unit of governance, but it rarely has been practised, because you can't impose a law on top of traditions... 

that way traiditions are neither challenged by human individuality, or through law because law is always controlled by those who control the society. thus rational law is actually regressive in this case. it bends towards the powerful.

you'll have a troll army of bhakts coming up with various theories, tugging at heart strings of dumbfcuks, and then you suddenly have UCC, even though hindus lose mostly from it.. as an example.
