Modi Will Dump Jagan's Letter In Dustbin!

Self-styled intellectual and former Congress MP from Rajahmundry Vundavalli Arun Kumar, once a staunch loyalist of late Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, doesn’t gel with the latter’s son and present Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Vundavalli never loses an opportunity to take a dig at the YSR Congress party president on any issue, whether it is Polavaram or Amaravati or Visakhapatnam.

The latest issue of the privatisation of Vizag Steel Plant has come as yet another opportunity to target Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Reacting on the letter written by the chief minister to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting the latter to reconsider the Centre’s decision to privatise the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Vundavalli said there was absolutely no use of writing such a letter to the Prime Minister.

“What will the Prime Minister do on seeing the letter? He will simply dump it in the dustbin,” Vundavalli said. The only way to save the steel plant was to take up a massive agitation with the support of all political parties to corner the Centre, he said.

The former MP wondered why Jagan had praised Modi in the very sentence of his letter.

“I was surprised to read the first sentence. When all the Andhra Pradesh MPs, including those of YSRC, expressed unhappiness over the Union budget that had done nothing for the state, Jagan complimented Modi for presenting such great budget,” he criticised.

He said where was the need for Jagan to talk about the budget, instead of straightaway mentioning the negative effects of privatisation of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

Vundavalli found fault with the TDP as well as the YSRC for not coming forward to lead an all-party agitation to discuss the Vizag Steel Plant issue.

“Even BJP, Jana Sena, CPI and CPI-M leaders have come forward to form a joint action committee. But the TDP and the YSRC did not show any interest,” he criticised.

Every budget ilaage adukoovalsindhe - manakentha, tamil kentha. Manal land lo factories meedha manaki assal control ledhu. Why cant all these parties come together along with other regional parties and take away the powers of delhi. 90% of the budget will come back to ap- 10% delhi can take for defense etc.
