directed by the notorious Shekar Kapoor, this movie has been surrounded by too many controversies when it got released. Phoolan herself fought against the accuracy of the movie but later withdraw her objections when she was paid .Later again she demanded the film be banned for invading her sexual privacy by showing the gang rape and for implicating her in a mass murder that she denied having committed. she has supported the film again when she was paid another time.

Shekar kapoors directing and kickass acting by Seemabiswas made it a modern day cult. There are other YT videos of this movie with English subtitles.
