Hello Guys,

I got H1 last year and am doing contract job as of now, would there be any cons in moving to full time?

1. Can you suggest some tips for full time job search? (like should i avoid desi implementation partners like cognizant, infosys etc.)

2. Can you suggest if it is better to stay in contract or move to full time (as if i get fired on h1 on full time, there will only be one month right to find new employer?)

Contracting isn't worth it anymore esp if you are on H1B. Too  many restrictions, too many rule changes and constant supervision by USCIS.

Better get a FT, you will grow in your career and also have some stability in life. Hiring and firing mana chetullo ledu but FT is a little more secure. Strongly suggest FT, contracting is only good for GC and USCs now a days, but even those people aren't too keen on it anymore. Which is why these WITCH organizations are gaining so many projects.

both has pros and cons.. unless biggies kakkunda ..rest all fte same in my opinion..

FTE only visa issue okkate undavu... after pandemic now everything same..

long term contracting  chusuko or if both working..one fT and one contracting better..
