2nd and 3rd quote an RTI which was filed and answered in 2013 (UPA term). Not discrediting it though.

Some 50 years from now, it is easy to say that Modi didn't name the stadium after himself, GCA-JayShah did it; President liked it.. blah blah.. But the fact remains that during NaMo's term the stadium was renamed after him. Just like during Nehru and IG's terms, they were conferred the Bharat Ratna.

How can you say people did merry when things happened like that in the past? There must have been people that would have been critical about such decisions. Moreover the amount of information that is available is more these days compared to earlier. Leaders may have got away doing nasty things because people never got to know. But again that gives people these days the opportunity to twist things as they see fit to their needs.

Stop comparing the past with comments that are made now. That statement that "pandaga chesukunnaru is incorrect because you did not know how they acted then.

The reason why i sent these links is "Truth is all relative and perceived based on your bias". These days, the more a statement is amplified , the stronger the "Truth" is. No one cares what the actual matter is.
