There is nothing delhi can to do effect it except tax which it does to the maximum.  Infact in last 6 years american software sector salaries have increased tremendously but no corresponding rise happened in india - nothing to do with modi but something to do with india.

Again labor pay in south india will always increase due to demographics and welfare politics. Pop growth rates are low in south and youth population is decreasing. Either you need planned gang labor from north but if you need casual ad hoc local labor you have to pay. Nothing to do with modi.

You need to judge what did they do for us with all the taxes they 10gi in last 6 years. Any new rail lines? any significant change in road network started and completed in these years? any new ports?

THe simple fact is with out india a generally peaceful state like andhra/tg  with excellet diaspora would be atleast on par with malaysia.

And dont forget humiliation factor that comes with a strong delhi or india which does not speak your language and you feel like a foreigner in your own so called capital.

Petrol prices directly depend on delhi. For last few years the prices were low in international market but modi took care not send any benefit to ordinary people. Any change in that garbage cans called indian railway bogies? as crappy as ever. Any increase in jobs by indian corporates who depend on indian economy like HLL or tata motors or public sector employment - none major. Small business crushed in towns thanks to GST. Farmer deliberately hit with demon.

What about security controlled by delhi? any change in mind of kashmiris? did he get back real monsters like dawood ibrahim? any improvement in relations with sri lanka/china/ etc ? ANy better access for indian goods anywhere in world market? riots again in capital city just last year with 50 plus deaths. can you imagine people killing each other in 50s in any mojor city in world ?

Also every policy implemented was generaly thoughtless without any discussion, very disruptive and painful. Dont even need to say anything about demon. But GST the morons originally made a plan for weekly electronic filing - really in a country this poor where even cell networks are poor outside of citiies (sometimes in cities also) they were expecting small business men to file electornically every week. But even those who filed the system broke down. THese glitches are only beginning until informal sector largely destroyed.

The threat of CAA bought hurt and pain to muslims leading to massive protests. The thoughtless farmbill we can see the pain and movement there.

THe thoughtless lockdown saw heart rending scenes of people with children and old parents WALKING  for thousands of kms in hot indian sun because everything shutdown in 4 hours. what will informal labor with 2-3 day savings do ?

Not only a thoughtless govt but a vicious and heartless one too. In kashmir they blocked mobile internet for EVERYONE  for 14 months or so until Biden came to power.
