WHO decided $3 as price for covid vaccines for poor countries internationally. But modi put a price ceiling of 150 or $2 - after forcing these companies to develop them at record speed. I actually like bharat biotech - they did great work in vaccines before too. But then too govt of india put a rod and now too. Ambani kaadiki india lo oil dorikithe will he sell for lesser than international crude price? if he can export it?

Standard rate already fixed by WHO. The vaccines can be exported. yem chesindhanta indian govt rate balavanthanga thagginchadaaniki. Indian govt does not follow any rules or principles.

Same reason why all sucessful telugu pharma companies target the foreign market first and indian market afterwards . Too much corruption and red tape in india

Yea but foreign companies once they agree with the rates they pay them reasonably quick. INdia lo if you take a govt conract every IAS officer will treat you like a neech kamine kutthe after getting work done from you making you run from post to pillar for basic things. Then propoganda in media that contractors are cheats.

I'm talking from pharma/vaccine perspective, first of all India lo even if the govt gives a free hand to these pharma companies and whether these companies price their vaccine at 10k per dose or 10Rs per dose no one cares or bothers to take vaccine. vaccine is waste muchata in india. At least covid mundu ekkado akkada flu shots esukune valla now that flu shot market/business is also gone, ippudu flu shots kuda bayapaduthunnaru.

The only scam where people are not getting chance to escape and save themselves is heart stents and cardio-issues-surgeries. Cardio related ki matrame bayapaduthunnaru.
