no one is patheeth baa. But the rot starts from govt of india. THere are many well meaning indians who respond to govt policy but only to get a rod after they have done work. I know one guy who took indian policy on renewable energy in early 2000s seriously, travelled the world got equipment from russia to convert some grains in to electricity. And when he went to claim incenctives as per govt policy they treated him like garbage. he had to go to courts and ultimately sold it off.

wrong, India lo kuda copyrights, patents ni serious ga tesukuntaru. if a company steals and manufactures any drug even without complying to patents that's detrimental to pharma industry. USP has a office in Hyderabad not anywhere else. China drugs ni kuda nammaru west

alantidi Indian pharma industry ni nee bold letters toh comedy chesav ante ne ardam aithadii. expire ayina patents are called generics vatini India cheap ga manufacture chestadi so that doesn't mean that they are copying any thing and copying patent infringements are legal ani cheppamaka.

No - India grants patents on manufacturing process but not on the actual formula of the end drug. Drug discovery is very expensive process only west, japan and now china do it. THere is no drug invented in india.

What indian pharma companies do is this. They already know what the final product must be - they simply change the "cooking" process - add some additional non-key API (active pharma ingedient) or some filler material - apply for a patent.

India does not even make API's the basic componenets - they come from china. just cooks differently., IN china, the govt recognized  patent on end formula. SO there is no legal way in china to copy the formula so their generics are illegal and have bad reputation.
