Nothing wrong in giving money to those in need. It’s about whether they are reaching. In fact it had been directly being deposited into beneficiary accounts for those that were qualified irrespective of the party unlike Tdp where leaders itself ate all of the money and whatever remaining it was minted by janmabhoomi committee. This was the main reason for the loss for tdp in elections . Development of state doesn’t just means starting industries.,it’s also developing people by such welfare programs. I wouldn’t mind paying additional money if it goes to needy. Giving 5k for volunteers is not big money at all.
